For nearly 6 years since its re-launch in late 2010, Yarnfield Park in Staffordshire has been helping people and organisations from a diverse range of sectors to achieve their conference, training and development goals. It has successfully built a national reputation for delivering both residential and day events. The centre has built its foundations on one core message: that it exists to help organisations grow, inspire and empower people by providing them with the location, facilities and environment to achieve their goals.
Yarnfield Park specialises in national association conferences, government training programmes and corporate events, with a diverse range of clients that includes BT, Nike, a number of government departments, Samaritans and Trauma Care.
The Staffordshire venue is well located in the centre of the UK, less than 1½ hours by train from London Euston, 10 minutes off the M6 and less than an hour from Birmingham, Manchester and East Midlands airports.
The centre offers a diverse range of facilities with 32 event spaces spread across its 2 conference centres. These include the 450 capacity Knighton Suite supported by the Howden and Leighton Suites which both have a capacity of 250 theatre style. In addition to the event spaces there are 338 en-suite bedrooms spread across 4 blocks, a 500 cover restaurant, 400 free car parking spaces and a newly refurbished bar. This Staffordshire venue is well equipped for large residential conferences, day meetings, training events and exhibitions in addition to awards dinners and private dining events. Yarnfield Park also has significant outdoor space which can be used for everything fromcorporate team-building events to camping.
Given the crucial importance of connectivity to event organisers, Yarnfield Park is able to offer one of the fastest internet and Wi-Fi services available at any venue in the UK, with a dedicated 300Mbps connection allowing for up to 800 devices to be connected at any one time across the conference centres and bedrooms.
Throughout 2015 and 2016 the venue undertook a major programme of investment. This has included the new bar, a new restaurant, a new Costa Coffee, an upgraded Knighton Suite, a new 400 space car park and 56 refurbished bedrooms. This programme will then continue into 2017 with further bedroom upgrades.
