Wyboston Lakes Resort shortlisted for coveted Hotel Marketing Awards

 Leading hotel, conference, training and leisure venue Wyboston Lakes Resort has been shortlisted for the Meetings and Events Marketing category of the prestigious Hotel Marketing Awards.

The Hotel Marketing Awards are among the most coveted accolades within the UK hospitality industry.

Director of Marketing Louisa Watson says: “To receive recognition for the marketing of our meetings and event facilities from the Hotel Marketing Association’s judges is a superb compliment and high praise for our team. It’s a tremendous achievement and honour.”

The winners will be announced at an awards night to take place at the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel in London on 18 March.

In 2018 Wyboston Lakes Resort launched a new high impact integrated marketing campaign targeted at the meetings and event sector whose message was captured by the theme “Your Vision, Our Reality.” The campaign, featuring the use of VR as well as an extensive social marketing, a microsite, exhibiting at major trade shows, advertising and PR, continues successfully.

The recognition comes just as Wyboston Lakes Resort is completing the latest phase of the £3m transformation of its meetings and events facilities, creating the Woodlands Event Centre. A vast range of inspiring new conference and meeting rooms with top of the range venue IT technology are now available to create infinite flexibility for organisers and to enhance the delegate experience.  The capacity of the main conference room has increased by over 60 per cent, now accommodating in excess of 600 guests, while the venue incorporates the latest in creative design and art works.

A new refreshment bar concept by artisan coffee specialists Paddy & Scott’s will keep conference delegates energised throughout the day with a wide range of drinks and snacks. The venue has also added a new mini theatre themed rooms, games areas, mobile bars and barbeques.
