Silverstone, one of the Country’s Most Iconic Venues Appoints a New Head of Sales for Meetings and Events
Hayley Smith joined The Silverstone Wing event venue, set in the heart of Silverstone’s Grand Prix circuit, at the end of 2019.
She has a solid background of working with large meetings and exhibition spaces having previously worked at Chelsea Football Club and Sandown Park Racecourse.
Hayley said: “We’re best known for our Formula 1® British Grand Prix, but we also cater for large conferences and exhibitions as well as meetings, training, product launches and gala dinners; the options are endless.
“Our memorable venue combines the glamour and heritage of the Home of British Motor Racing, with stunning design and state of the art technology. The Silverstone Wing offers the latest in conference and event space with the flexibility of five large halls and a selection of smaller meeting rooms for 10 to 600 people, plus 40 Pit Garages ideal for exhibitions and themed dinners.
“With over 600 acres and four circuits we can enhance event packages to include driving experiences and team building activities.
“The newly built Hilton Garden Inn also opens soon and will overlook the track and the start/finish line.”
In total the venue offers more than 12,500m2 of flexible and versatile event space, five event halls, a 120-seater auditorium, over 30 meeting spaces from five boardrooms to a theatre-style space for 650 people and the largest indoor covered exhibition space between London and Birmingham.
Day delegate rates are from £45 per person plus vat and complimentary parking and Wi-Fi are available.
