New spring tasting menu at Murrays
A fresh new spring tasting menu has been developed by 3AA Rosette restaurant, Murrays, situated within Whittlebury Park, ready for when it reopens its doors on the 17th May.
Packed with local and in-season produce from the surrounding Northamptonshire farms and suppliers, the elegant new menu places the ingredients centre stage, with thoughtful combinations to bring out the flavours of each dish.
The Murrays spring tasting menu is priced at £70 per person and includes six courses to be enjoyed by the whole table, plus coffee and petit fours. Guests can enjoy dishes such as Duroc pork with Boots farm potato, young carrot and savoy cabbage, and sweet dishes such as peach melba with Lutton farm raspberry and Madagascar vanilla. A wine flight can be added for £35 per person.
The à la carte menu is priced at £50 per person for three courses and £45 per person for two courses and includes dishes such as 64°C slow cooked hen egg with Smockington farm spinach and Packington fungi, and Creedy Carver duck with Cambridgeshire allium, English cherry and Warwickshire parsley. The cheese board features a carefully curated collection of small-batch cheeses from across the UK.
Head chef Harvey Lockwood says: “I’m passionate about working with local suppliers and showcasing the amazing ingredients we have on our doorstep here in beautiful Northamptonshire and the surrounding counties. We’ve created a delicious menu which is full of flavour and really lets the quality of the ingredients shine, and I can’t wait to share it when we re-open our doors.”
Murrays will re-open on 17 May in line with government guidelines. To ensure a safe stay for guests and a healthy working environment for its team members Whittlebury Park operates in line with its StaySafe Initiative, which assures guests that the highest health and safety protocols are adhered to throughout the resort.
