Missenden Abbey to showcase local businesses at Christmas Craft Market on 11th December 2016

As the festive season approaches, make a date in your diary to visit Missenden Abbey Conference Centre for its Christmas Craft Market which features over 30 seasonal stalls and is also raising funds for Rennie Grove Hospice Care.

The conference centre in London Road, Great Missenden, holds the event from 11am-4pm on Sunday 11 December, with free entry and free parking, and, with exhibitors selling a great range of gifts from stocking fillers to Christmas decorations and silver jewellery to bespoke glass art, there is something for everyone.

This year the Christmas Craft Market has secured two book signing opportunities. Amersham-based author Rachel Sherfield will be signing copies of her children’s book, Mrs Blossom and Sniffy (the dog that was a little bit whiffy!), and Anneeka Ludhra will be signing copies of cookery book Dadima’s – Celebrating Grandmother’s Wisdom Through Indian Cooking. Perfect Christmas gifts for the young bookworm and the budding cook!

Eva Neupauer-Jones, General Manager at Missenden Abbey, said: “We have something for everyone at our seasonal Christmas Craft Market and look forward to welcoming a variety of local businesses to join us and sell a range of exciting goodies and gifts.

“We are also delighted and proud to help support an extremely deserving cause in Rennie Grove Hospice Care.”

In addition to the stalls, festive food and drink will be available to buy throughout the event prepared by the kitchen team at the 12th century Abbey, keeping families festively fuelled as they explore a treasure trove of Christmas gifts for all.
