Millennium Point Announces COVID-19 Client Protection Plan
Millennium Point has announced a plan outlining their strategy for protecting clients and event attendees against COVID-19.
Millennium Point is a landmark public building and multi-award-winning conference and events venue in the Eastside of Birmingham city centre. Profits from the commercial activity as a venue and public building go towards the Millennium Point Charitable Trust who invest more than £5m back into the West Midlands each year.
The Client Protection Plan is a 4-page document which outlines the steps the award-winning venue is taking to create a safe and secure environment for event clients looking to host in their spaces.
The plan outlines five key areas from social distancing measures to contact-free catering. It also offers video conference solutions such as virtual tours and a live video streaming bolt on for events.
The plan is designed to reduce risk for clients and attendees using the event spaces and to alleviate concerns around the coronavirus, once current lockdown measures have been lifted.

The organisation has based the plan on client feedback and the latest advice and guidance from the events and hospitality industry and local and national government. The organisation has commented that the plan and overall strategy for supporting venue clients will continue to adapt and develop alongside measures put in place across the wider organisation and in-line with emerging government guidelines and industry standards.
