Job Title: Sales Executive

Location: College Court Conference Centre & Leicester Conferences

Responsible to: Conference Diary Manager

Purpose of Job: To proactively and reactively sell all facilities within College Court and Leicester Conferences

Hours: Monday to Friday (Weekends may be required if the business demands it)

Salary: Competitive


Main Duties & Responsibilities:


·         Drive new business in the corporate sector

·         Identify and win new business

·         Identify and develop new conference clients

·         Lead generation

·         Be aware of potential high and lows

·         Action sales leads

·         Complete weekly personal sales report

·         Maximise revenue opportunities

·         Ensure customer service levels and smooth delivery of products and services for the clients on all events

·         Assist in business development and sales promotions/exhibitions where required

·         Upselling on event packages

·         Exceed budget

·         Maintain repeat business

·         Database management

·         Holiday/busy period cover for co-ordination of events where required



·         Ensure excellent attention to detail

·         Show rounds and up-selling of the facilities

·         To ensure excellent customer service is delivered at all times

·         Develop and maintain accurate and up to date customer relationship management


·         Ensure delivery of our services to an extremely high standard



·         Create a proactive environment with the conference / sales team on a daily basis

·         To deliver excellent customer service and take every opportunity to increase sales

·         To ensure that all customer requirements are identified

·         Attend team meetings to ensure awareness of the sales targets and strategic direction of the business.

·         Convert business from enquiry stage ,upsell at every opportunity

·         Maintain accurate and up to date records of all administration relating to the sales office



·         Help to exceed sales targets within the team

·         To carry out client show rounds

·         Maintain accurate and up to date administration of all customer / sales office files

·         To produce weekly sales focus reports and deliver to CDM

·         Generate new ideas for income streams

·         Attend regular sales meetings with Head of Sales and Marketing and CDM



·         Actively participate in training programmes both on and off the job

·         Be aware and positively practise all company procedures which will include, Dress Code, use of mobiles / computers and others
