Ashorne Hill is an award-winning, dedicated residential centre for conferences and business training, set in 35 acres of stunning Warwickshire countryside. We’re based around a Grade 11 listed Manor House with a rich history. Across our 40 meeting and training rooms and110 bedrooms, we can cater for up to 300 day visitors. We’ve been a training and meeting venue for over 60 years and have built up a reputation for delivering high quality, meeting experiences, from the first sip of coffee when delegates arrive to the evening meal they enjoy after a successful day in the meeting room. 

We’re looking for a superstar Assistant Food & Beverage Manager.

You’ll be a people pleaser and able to juggle multiple jobs in a day.  You’ll support the Food & Beverage Manager with the day-to-day running of the team and the operation and support your team to offer a first class experience that will leave delegates with fond memories of their day at Ashorne Hill.  No two days will be the same and we cater for so many different types of clients.  A BBQ in the grounds, a private dinner in one of the meeting rooms.  You’ll enjoy the variety and be organised and friendly. 

As we emerge into a post-Covid world, we’ve got some really ambitious targets to achieve as a venue team. We need someone who will rise to the challenge to help us achieve this and take really good care of our clients.

Full Time, Permanent Position           
A mixture of early, late and split shifts, working 5 days in 7 (40 hours)
 
As the Assistant F&B Manger you will manage the effective running of the catering department.  Your daily duties will be in support of the F & B Manager for shift operations and supervision of the restaurant and bar to ensure a professional and efficient food and beverage service is experienced by all customers.
 
Principal accountabilities:
To take control of all food & beverage service operations
Act as the licensee holder for the premises when on shift
Undertake the ordering of bar supplies and stock takes, maintaining procedures relating to stock control, cash handling, purchasing and stock & waste disposal
Supervise and motivate staff before, during and after service
Train staff where necessary
To ensure the correct procedure of food & beverage service is adopted at all times
 
The ideal candidate will have held a similar role previously within a 4* hotel or conference centre environment.  We are looking for someone to join our team who is enthusiastic, has excellent leadership skills and strives to provide excellent customer service going beyond guest’s expectations at all times.  Bar experience essential.
  
In return Ashorne offer a salary of £19,500 to £22,000, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits such as:
